The Old Village in Mt. Pleasant is a combination of luxury old homes and smaller homes. The smaller homes are more affordable, but carry a higher price tag than other neighborhoods because of the old neighborhood established feel.

Carol Oaks are new homes and townhomes located in Mt. Pleasant off 17 south near Hwy 41 turnoff. The outsides features partial metal roofs & 30 year shingles with large story porches. Want a home with your own island? Try St. Thomas Island next to Daniel Island. Centex is featuring a homesite called Shell Ring. Shell Ring at St. Thomas Island. Arboretum Condos - lovely condos in West Ashley near 61 and Sam Rittenberg.

Arlington in Park West offers a family-friendly  neighborhood. Park West is located in Mt. Pleasant past the highway 41 intersection.

Schieveling Plantation offers single family homes in a quiet scenic neighborhood on the edge of West Ashley.

The Gatherings are condominiums and a few townhomes located in West Ashley.

The Peninsula is a community of single family homes centered around a pool area and small play park located between Mt. Pleasant and North Charleston off Clement Ferry Road


Villages of St. Johns Woods are single family homes in a lovely community on Johns Island. Energy efficient homes are now being built near the back of the community. While there is some original higher cost, the savings in the long run is significant. The Villages in St. John's Woods offers country living in a city block setting. The trees remain a major focus with Charleston singles nestled among them.
